Calendar

• I will follow the McKinney  School calendar: http://www.mckinneyisd.net/Final_Option.pdf
• If the McKinney ISD is closed, the studio is closed that day.
• If the McKinney ISD is closed on a Friday and the following Monday, the studio will also be closed that weekend.
• Lessons will begin Tuesday September 2, 2008 for the fall semester.
• Lessons will end on Monday May 18, 2009 for this school year.

 Tuition

• Tuition will be $250 per semester.
• Payment will be due at the beginning of the semester - cash, check, or credit card via PayPal, through my web page ( www.pewd.com/clarinet ).
• Students beginning lessons after the start of the semester will be quoted a prorated rate for the first semester - call and inquire.
• You will receive 15 lessons each in the spring semester
• You will receive studio technical study sheet music, in addition to solo ensemble copyies for study..
• Lessons in excess of 15 per semester will be $20 each.  Call for availability/location/schedule.

 Absences

If I am notified in advance of a missed lesson, you will qualify for a makeup lesson.
Notification must be by telephone - if you email me, I might not receive it in time - please call the number above if you will miss a lesson.

You will receive a maximum of two (2) makeup lessons per school YEAR.  Absences in excess of 2 will not be made up or refunded.
Student vacations on days MISD is in session are not excused absences.  Illness absences in excess of 2 per year will not be made up.

If you have a conflict with a school event, you are responsible for contacting me and letting me know - do not presume that I am aware of school events conflicting with lessons.  This includes, among other things, achievement tests, assemblies, pep rallies, yearbook photo sessions, activity/field days, field trips, band trips, proms, etc.  If you do not call in advance of such conflicts, you will not receive a makeup or credit for the missed lesson.

• Friday October 10, 2008 (MISD early release) 
• Monday October 27, 2008 (parent conferences, makeup lessons available at my studio)
• Sunday November 16, 2008  (Plano Comm. Band Concert - Eisemann)
• Saturday November 22, 2008 through Sunday November 30, 2008)  (Thanksgiving break)
• Thursday December 4, 2008, no lessons after 4:45 pm (Plano Comm. Band Concert)
• Monday December 22, 2008 through Saturday January 3, 2009 (Winter Break)
• Friday January 9, 2009 (MISD early release)
• Friday January 16, 2009 (MISD holiday)
• Monday January 19, 2009 (MLK Day)
• Friday February 27, 2009 (MISD early release)
• Saturday March 14, 2009 - through - Sunday March 22, 2009 (Spring Break)
• Friday April 10, 2009  through Monday April 13, 2009 (Good Friday / Easter )
• Tuesday May 19, 2009 - closed until June 6, 2009.
